Honestly, initially, I had a pretty bad attitude to the new requirement of taking this course. I felt it was insulting. After listening to your presentation, I feel like I see from a different light. I appreciate your approach to delivering the information. I liked the videos and that you shared your personal stories. I read a book years ago by Stephen Covey called "The seven habits of highly effective people." The concept of realizing your own implicit bias, showing willingness to understand others, and to mindfully use this new information to become a better version of yourself really reminds me of the "paradigm shift" he discusses in his book. It seems to me that addressing your own implicit bias will really take a lot of emotional intelligence and maturity. I wish I saw more of that in so many people today. Thank you for giving me so much to think about. I hope I didn't ramble on too much! Have a great night! 03/25/24 Implicit Bias
